Dartford Golf Club

We run the section independently from the men with our own Ladies' Committee. However, anybody joining the club today will be a full member of Dartford Golf Club.

We have our own Handicap Committee and organise all our own EWGA and club competitions. We also have a few mixed competitions.

The Ladies' membership at the present time is around 80 playing members including several Junior Girls, who are encouraged to compete and participate in all Ladies' Competitions.

Tuesdays are recognised as "Ladies' Day" by the Club and it is on this day that we play our competitions. Thursday is another popular day when many ladies come to the Club to play informal friendly games.

The best way to get to know the ladies is to come along about 1.00 pm on a Tuesday, at which time the ladies will be completing their games and having lunch. Ask for the Ladies' Captain or Ladies' Honorary Secretary who will be more than ready to welcome you and introduce you to the ladies present.

As well as golf, we have an annual Coffee Morning/Bring and Buy Sale in January and a Ladies' Spring Dinner which is held on an evening usually late March or early April.

At the present time there are vacancies for ladies in the Section and we would welcome ladies with or without handicaps.
