Dress Rules

Members and guests are expected to be reasonably attired at all times.

NOT PERMITTED ANYWHERE:

DENIM CLOTHING, JEANS-STYLE TROUSERS (WITH RIVETED POCKETS) OF ANY MATERIAL OR COLOUR OR TRACK SUITS

General

Smart clean golf wear throughout.
In the Bar & Restaurant after 6 pm (7pm BST*) smart casual wear (see definition below #).

Water/windproofs, wet or soiled clothing, golf shoes or hats in the Bar or Restaurant 

Shirts

Shirts must have collars and be tucked into trousers at all times.

Shirts displaying names or numbers other than golf logos.

Jackets & Ties

On Sundays tailored jackets with shirt & tie/cravat/roll neck sweater must be worn in the Lounge/Restaurant from 12 noon until 6pm.  Jackets are not required during BST*.

Zipped, plastic or sweater-type jackets with stiff collared shirts.

Footwear

No spikes in the Lounge or Restaurant.

Bare or stockinged feet.  Shoes or sandals worn without socks.
NO TRAINER SOCKS WITH SHORTS FOR MEN.

Shorts

Tailored shorts (not more than 4" above the knee) permitted everywhere but not in the Lounge and Restaurant after 6pm (7pm BST*).

Trousers/Shorts

Tailored full length or 3/4 length trousers or shorts (maximum 4 inches above the knee).

 

Shirts

Shirts must have collars or be turtle neck golf shirts.  To be tucked into trousers at all times.

Shirts displaying large names or numbers. Football shirts.

Footwear

Golf shoes only (with knee length or ABOVE ANKLE WHITE SPORTS SOCKS for men wearing shorts).

Trainers.  no Trainer socks for men.

Headgear

All headgear must be worn correctly.

'Back-to-front' headgear.

LADIES

The Ladies' Committee is responsible for the standard of dress of their Section and is to ensure that all Ladies conform to the spirit of the gentlemen's dress regulations.

MOBILE PHONES are allowed ONLY IN THE CAR PARK, LOCKER ROOMS and PSI KIOSK and in no other areas.  If being carried they should be turned off at all times.
